Bad for United!!! Not a sight you wanted to see if you support United.

Next up for Man United is their Champions League quarterfinal first-leg against Barcelona.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have eight days to prepare for the Catalans.

But will that be enough to conjure up a plan to stop Leo Messi and co?

Man United are in poor form with three defeats in their last four matches.

Man United are down in sixth place in the Premier League, while OGS has stated his belief that United need five wins in six games to have a chance at finishing in the top four.

Barcelona, meanwhile, are flying.

Barcelona have an eight point lead at the top of La Liga, while they have one defeat in their last 16 matches.

Ousmane Dembele is back for Barcelona

And Barcelona have received a further boost on Thursday as Ousmane Dembele returned to training ahead of schedule.

Dembele suffered a hamstring injury in the win over Lyon on Wednesday in the Champions League back in March.

The French forward tore the femoral biceps muscle in his left hamstring.

At the time of the injury, some questioned whether Dembele would miss both legs of the Man United tie.

However the signing of the Frenchman today will raise expectations Dembele could be involved in the match at Old Trafford next Tuesday.

Champions League quarter-finalists

Barcelona are the last remaining side from La Liga in the competition.

Four Premier League sides – Man United, Man City, Liverpool and Tottenham – remain in the hat.

Juventus, Ajax and Porto complete the lineup.
