The controversial Kenya musician, Akothee stirred social media with labour photos at Karen hospital which she shared on her Instagram account. Her fans made speculations concerning the photos. Some said that it was a way of celebrating her son’s birthday while others said she was recording a video of a new song.
Akothee has added another musical offering to her repertoire of music. She is set to release a song, Baraka, later in the day. The song in which she featured Tanzania’s artiste Linex, was shot at the Karen hospital. The song is about understanding the fact that, irrespective of all the challenges we go through as a couple, a child is a gift from God.
During an interview, she said; “It’s a parental shared responsibility , no child should be denied the parental love, and that all couples should join hands in the well being of a child, a child should be handled as a gift and not a punishment, or used as a weapon to frustrate the other partner.”
Some of the notable celebrities who make cameos in it are Dr King’ori, Oga Obinna and their families.
