Prince Harry and Meghan have shared a previously unseen photo

A few weeks ago, it was announced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be forming a new royal household.

Queen Elizabeth agreed to the creation of a new household for the Sussexes, with Prince Charles also supporting the move.

The establishment of the royal household would also see their office move out of Kensington Palace and into Buckingham Palace.

Their new communications staff will be part of the Buckingham Palace communications team, reporting to the Queen’s Communications Secretary Donal McCade.

As part of the split, the Sussexes also established their own social media accounts.

They previously shared the @kensingtonroyal account with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. On Tuesday, it was announced that updates about the royal parents-to-be will be shared on the @sussexroyal account.

For their first post, they shared a slideshow of images which they captioned:

‘Welcome to our official Instagram; we look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues.

“‘We thank you for your support, and welcome you to @sussexroyal.’– Harry & Meghan”

Among all of the photos, there was a previously unseen behind-the-scenes image – right at the very end of the slideshow – from Meghan and Prince Harry’s royal tour of Fiji last year.

Taken from behind, it shows the parents-to-be standing on the Grand Pacific Hotel’s balcony and waving to the crowd.

Royal reporter Omid Scobie said that it is definitely a new photograph, although it is not clear who took the photo.

He added that fans should expect more “behind-the-scenes moments like this” in the future.

It also echoes the Sussexes’ Christmas card from last year, which had a black-and-white photo from their royal wedding in. May.
