He further noted saying that now is the time for leaders to unite and ensure development for the people at the grass root level.
“Kenyans will decide by themselves. Let the leaders join in the handshake in healing the country,” noted the politician.
He mentioned saying that the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Opposition Leader Raila Odinga played a big role in uniting the Kenyans challeging those opposed to the unity to re-think and join in uniting Kenyans.
He added that if it were not for the handshake, then the country could be in a bad state.
The famous handshake happened at the time the country was experiencing high political temperatures that were occasioned by a heated presidential contest between Uhuru and Odinga which later culminated to a mock swearing in that threatened to split the country into two.
