The question who owns Kenya Mpya buses has cropped up once more after one of the fleet shredded a lady’s foot in an alleged police escape gone awry.

The deputy governor dismissed the association of the buses with him, saying he only had business interests in real estate and ICT.
The buses displayed a reckless disregard for traffic rules, and are thought to be ‘untouchable.’
Moments after the gruesome Kahawa-Sukari accident, the question has reemerged with Kenyans appealing to the government to reign the bus management.

The woman involved in the accident is reported to have been rushed to a hospital by a nearby Kenyatta university ambulance.
