Fews hours after former Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa lamented how his children are still asking why he was sacked, Opposition leader Raila Odinga’s son Raila Junior has provided him with four answers.
In a tweet after Echesa said that most people including his children were asking why he was sacked but he did not have answers for them, Junior gave the former CS four answers to choose from, that he may give as reasons for his dismissal from the Cabinet.
The former Prime Minister’s son said Echesa could either say he lacked vision, he was incompetent, failed to follow up with a strategic plan or the saga that saw several Pakistani strippers deported, after he vouched for them to enter the country or all the above answers.
Raila Junior’s words came after Rashid Echesa claimed that most of his friends had abandoned him and that President Uhuru had not bothered to explain why he dismissed him.
Speaking at the burial of former Nzoia Sugar Company Managing Director, Micheal Kulundu, Echesa said that he had people close to him asking questions he did not have answers to.
“I have a family, I have a following of people and friends asking questions which I can’t answer. People are asking what I did to Uhuru. Even my own children are asking me why I was fired,” said the former CS.
Rashid Echesa was fired by President Uhuru Kenyatta on March 1st.
