Kenyatta International conference center (KICC) Chief Executive Officer Nana Gecaga has been summoned by the Members of the Parliamentary Committee on Tourism, Sports and Culture after the botched meeting.

Bomas of Kenya General Manager, Quresh Ahmed, has also been asked to appear before the Committee to give an update on the implementation of government policies in regard to tourism and culture and efforts made to market Kenya as a tourist destination.
KICC is a parastatal mandated to promote and market Kenya in terms of meetings, incentives travel, conferences and exhibitions.
The Committee was previously forced to adjourn a meeting with the KICC CEO Nana Gecaga after she showed up in a pair of jeans trousers and a t-shirt.
Lack of seriousness was decoded on her actions on the particular day.
She holds a degree in Business Administration from London’s American Intercontinental University and has a wealth of experience in public relations and marketing.
She has worked with international firms on various projects aimed at marketing Kenya globally as the preferred tourist destination.
