Former Jubilee interim vice-chair David Murathe has said some leaders are happy associating with people stealing public money.

Speaking in Murang’a, Murathe said Waititu is busy defending deputy president and his allies who are accused of stealing public money.

He said even during Jesus’ time when Pontius Pilate asked ‘Niachilie Yesu ama Mwizi’ – the people mobilized to that event shouted ‘Mwizi!’ – and so we should not be shocked that some might want to follow thieves today

“Waititu is busy defending those corrupt leaders ,that is his democratic right but we will come for you,”he said.

He further said that if Ruto has stolen,he should e arrested as no one is superior under the law.

He said that if deputy chief justice can be arrested,why not deputy president.

The MPs were speaking in Murang’a county in Gatanga constituency.

More than 18 MPs from across the country drawn from various parties attended a church service.

The MPs urged President Uhuru Kenyatta not to be discouraged as he battles with corruption, for victory is near.

2. The MPs committed to continue supporting ‘The Building Bridges Initiative’ (aka ‘The Handshake) and urged their colleague from TangaTanga to stop cheating Kenyans that the handshake is about 2022 politics.

The leaders insisted that on the fight against corruption it does not matter the status of the suspects; they must step aside from public office immediately they are charged and until they have been acquitted by a court of law.

The MPs also assured Kenyans that the bill proposed by an MP allied to Deputy President William Ruto seeking to stop DCI Kinoti from investigating corruption will fail miserably in Parliament.
