Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said he wants Paul Pogba to be a good player on and off the ball for Manchester United.
Amid transfer rumours regarding the France international, Solskjaer has praised the midfielder, outlining his plans for the midfielder.
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has not hidden his appreciation for Pogba, who recently revealed that playing for the Los Blancos would be a “dream”.
Manchester United struggled to defeat Watford over the weekend, with Pogba playing the entire game. It was Solskjaer’s first game since becoming permanent boss.
“We want Paul to be both on and off the ball a good player for us,” Solskjaer said.
“We want him to be influential with the way we play. Sometimes that means up as an eight into the box, sometimes to control the game, drop down deeper.
“Against Watford he had to drop down to get a hold of the ball. Every single game is going to be different until the end of the season.
“We haven’t really nailed down one way of playing. We’ve got three or four different ways of playing. That’s the beauty of Paul – that he can do both.”
“We can improve on that one.”

Solskjaer also responded to Louis van Gaal’s claims that United have been using the “park-the-bus tactics” under him, saying that the Dutchman is entitled to his opinion.
United’s next game is against Wolves on Tuesday. The Wolves clash will be followed by the much anticipated game between United and Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League next week.
Meanwhile, According to the latest reports, Premier League duo of Manchester City and Manchester United have been given a boost in the pursuit of signing Olympique Lyonnais superstar Tanguy Ndombele in the summer transfer window.
The midfielder has gained plenty of attention for his impressive displays at the French club and the two Manchester giants are in the hunt to sign the young defensive midfielder after Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas revealed his summer plans.
The two Manchester clubs are facing contrasting fortunes from what history had shown us a few seasons ago.
The Blue half of the City are sitting at the top of the Premier League summit and look on course to win the League title while the Red side of Manchester is struggling to make it into the top four.
Although both sides are still in the Champions League, City still has a more realistic chance of winning the continental tournament in comparison to United. Pep Guardiola’s side has already bagged the League Cup trophy and is still on course for the quadruple this term.
