Controversial Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has picked a fresh fight with President Uhuru Kenyatta, regarding his deals with his Ugandan counterpart Yoweri Museveni.

Speaking in Nyaturango Catholic Church in Nyamira on Saturday, the lawmaker took issue with the President for striking a deal that will see Ugandan export eggs to Kenya.

He said that the move will be a blow to local farmers producing the same product, as it will expose them to an unfair competition with their Ugandan counterparts.

The firebrand lawmaker said that the deal that will also see Uganda export sugar to Kenya will render farmers helpless and subject them to suffering right under their government’s nose, reports the Citizen Digital.

He stressed on the need for fellow lawmakers to come in and help in attempting to reverse the deal, reached during Museveni’s visit earlier in the week.

The MP was speaking in the company of area Senator Okong’o Omogeni, Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka, area lawmaker Vincent Kemosi and other parliamentarians.

This is not the first time Kuria is bashing the head of state, after bashing him.for allegedly isolating someparts of the nation in his development agenda late last year.

Speaking at the Thika Stadium on the eve of the new year 2019, a tipsy Kuria was filmed accusing Uhuru of turning the Mt Kenya region into a voting machine and taking development elsewhere.
