Few days the head of state President Uhuru Kenyatta vowed to deal with corrupt official regardless of their relations.
Lawyer Donald Kipkorir has hinted that government officials who have been linked in corruption scandal especially the ongoing Arrow and Kimwarer dam saga will soon be sacked.
“BTW today & next Week April 4, Kenya will experience its Night Of the Long Knives …. It will mark the end of some Ministers, PSes, CEOs & some Politicians … Arror & Kimwarer Dams will be our River Jordan in the War against Corruption. It has been long coming but Time is Nigh” reads Donald tweet.
Arrow and Kimwarer dam saga has taken center stage after Ksh 21 billion disappeared mysteriously.
So far three Cabinet Secretaries including Treasury’s Henry Rotich have already recorded statements over the issue.
However DP Ruto allies have been accusing President Uhuru for using graft war to target their community.
He went ahead to urge those rebellious lawmakers to respect and help the President to fight corruption and achieve his Big four Agenda.
“President Uhuru Kenyatta must demand & get loyalty of his Party MPs lest he is rendered a eunuch soon… One can’t govern without legislative control … His Big4 Agenda & fight against Corruption will come cropper with rebellious MPs. He has Monopoly Of Power & must use it”.
Few days ago former sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Echesa was fired by President Uhuru during his late cabinet reshuffle
Echesa before his sacking was involved in numerous scandals.
Around that time the CS was ever present in the entourage of Deputy President William Ruto’s political tour of Western Kenya.
Echesa has openly dabbled into politics and was once quoted as advising anybody who eyeing the presidency to ensure they had a multi-billion shilling war chest.
