Chepkurbet watchman finds his way home after missing for a few days. after being allegedly abducted.
The guard whose identity is yet to be revealed, was reported missing from Chepkurbet Africa Gospel Church in Kapsoit Ward, Ainamoi sub county on Thursday.
The church had been broken into by unknown assailants who apparently abducted him and stole kitchenware.
According to Chepkurbet sub location Assistant Chief Thomas Korir, the watchman claimed that the assailants put him inside a Probox vehicle which they fled in.
He further alleged that they dumped him after tying him up in a thicket in Kapsorok area,
He reportedly found his way back home on Thursday night safe and sound.
The chief said that a meeting was held between the watchman and the area church officials before the man was taken to Nyagacho police post to allow for investigations.
This also follows the recent incident in Kiambu where 25 Burundian women were found ready to be tranported to Asian countries.
Police have asked residents to report suspicious cases around them in order to reduce crime rates which are escalating.
