Visiting Uganda President Yoweri Museveni ended his three days official tour to Kenya by visiting retired president Moi at Nairobi hospital where he is receiving treatment.
President Museveni held bilateral talks with his Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta in which Infrastructural development dominated. The two leaders agreed to invest in railway, road and water transport.
Museveni’s itinerary started with a visit to the miuseleum of Founding president Jomo Kenyatta at parliament buildings where he was received by Majority Leader Aden Duale and Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka.
“Joined leaders at the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta’s Mausoleum at Parliament grounds, Nairobi with President of the Republic of Uganda, H.E. @KagutaMuseveni when he laid a wreath,” Duale posted on twitter.
There after ,he visited retired President Daniel Moi at Kabarnet Gardens in Nairobi accompanied by Baringo senator and 2022 presidential hopeful Gideon Moi.
In the photos posted by Museveni, a jovial Moi, 94, is seen having talks with Museveni.
“This morning, as I end my three-day state visit to Kenya, I visited the mausoleum where founding president Jomo Kenyatta rests and paid my respects. I also visited Mzee Daniel Toroitich arap Moi and our Speaker, Rebecca Kadaga, who are in hospital. I wish them a speedy recovery,”Moseveni said.
There is a speculations that the three leaders discussed about Gideon 2022 presidential ambitions.
