Miguna rubbishes DPP Haji’s US tour

Money laundering case against ex-Nambale MP Chris Okemo and former Kenya Power and Lighting Company CEO Samuel Gichuru is a waste of time, Miguna Miguna has said.

Miguna feels that the two were found guilty of the offence and the Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji has no reason to travel to the Island of Jersey, United States of America in the name of collecting evidence against them.

He also feels President Uhuru Kenyatta’s fight against corruption is a mere public relations stunt.

Miguna, who has claimed that the announcement of his return to Kenya in April left Uhuru in a panic mode, said Uhuru has been taking Kenyans for a ride.

“No one can be tried for the same offence twice. So, Okemo and Gichuru will be acquitted in Kenya for looting billions our money AFTER they had already been convicted 19 years ago for those crimes in Jersey. Uhuru Kenyatta’s “fight against corruption” is a hoax and a scandal,” he said.

Miguna has been urging Kenyans to rise against President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.

He believes the two leaders have failed the nation since they were elected.
