Fireworks as Lawyer Nelson Havi Takes on DPP Noordin in a bitter Twitter Exchange

As the prosecution of DCJ Philomena Mwilu take’s centre stage, the two parties involved in the case have decided to take their war from the courts and settle it on social media.

On Tuesday, lawyer Nelso Havi, who is representing the embattled DCJ, accused DPP Noordin Haji of trying to vilify Philomena Mwilu of through the mainstream media and social media hash tags.

The renowned lawyer also accused the chief prosecutor of interfering the client-lawyer relationship.

“The intended criminal prosecution was malicious from the word go.” Havi said on his Twitter handle.

But the DPP has accused Havi of making malicious accusations. In fact it became a very big issue that the honorable court had to intervene.

“Court reprimands lawyer Nelson Havi for attacking the DPP on social media without facts or evidence. The 5-Judge Bench reprimanded Havi for accusing DPP of paying bloggers to spread false information about DCJ Philomena Mwilu. “ DPP said through his twitter handle.

But Nelson Havi has denied that such a thing happened in court.

And the battle was narrowed down to a yes or no answer.
