Manchester United have changed their transfer plans following the success of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Red Devils have seen significant progress in certain areas of the team where they were planning to heavily invest in this summer.

Solskjaer has been long planning United’s transfer business which is increasing expectations he is set to be appointed permanently in the very close future. The report claims that Manchester United are no longer willing to spend in excess of £50 million on a new centre-back.Old Trafford officials have been delighted with the defensive progress the team has made Solskjaer.

Since the Norwegian manager’s arrival only Liverpool have conceded fewer goals than United. It is understood that United were willing to spend around £100 million to secure a world class defender.
