Rangers on patrol found six unidentified men bodies at the Tsavo National Park.
Police from Mtito Andei moved the decomposed bodies which were found at Kanga area in the park to the Makindu Hospital mortuary.
According to the Standard, Rangers Mark Lesidio and James Simiti discovered the bodies about 15km east of their station.
DCI at the scene
The rangers are said to have decided to conduct a search due to a foul smell that had engulfed the area before they discovered the male bodies without clothes.
This was about a kilometer from the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway.
Officers from Mtito Andei police station and detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation visited the scene before they found the bodies scattered from one another within the park.
Report missing relatives
Reports in the local media claim that police suspect the bodies were likely to have been murdered elsewhere before they were dumped at the Tsavo National Park.
County commissioner Maalim Mohamed urged those who have lost their relatives to report since no identification documents were recovered from the bodies
