A series of prank tweets have been posted on Twitter , urging users to changed their birthday on the platform to 2007.
The tweets suggest that doing this will unlock special features, including colourful tweets and themes.
While this might sound tempting, there’s an important reason why you should ignore the advice.
Changing your birthday on Twitter to 2007 will lead to you being kicked off the platform.
Twitter tweeted about the prank, urging users to ignore the tweets.
It said: “We’ve noticed a prank trying to get people to change their Twitter birthday in their profile to 2007 to unlock new colour schemes.
“Please don’t do this. You’ll get locked out for being under 13 years old.”
