‘Do you know Webuye? Loud Laughter as Museveni hilariously challenges Kenyan Journalist

How well do you know your country? Can you imagine a foreigner coming into your country and challenging you about some places you didn’t even know existed?

Well, a young journalist by the name June found herself on the receiving end of some hard questions from Ugandan dictator Yoweri Museveni?

‘Before your father was born, I saw a paper mill at a place called Webuye, would you have heard of Webuye?’ Musevni asked June?

He added that the current generation of youth know more about Europe than their local geographical setting.

‘This place Webuye is on the way to Bungoma, near a place called Turbo’ He added.

Museveni also shocked Kenyans when he revealed that he knows almost every border point here in Kenya.

‘I know those borders very well because I used them during my time in the opposition. I know Busia, Amungura, Malava and Lwakhakha’

The Ugandan leader insisted on the need for Kenyans and Ugandans to do business together. He wondered why Ugandans should import paper when they can get it from Kenya.

“Ndugu zenu Waganda are spending $130M importing paper, I do not know whether it includes toilet paper… that must be stopped…”
