Manchester United coach Gary Walker has announced he is leaving the club.
Walker has been the Red Devils’ head of strength and conditioning for the past 11 years and will move to the MLS, where he has secured a job as Director of Sports Performance at FC Cincinnati.
The coach joined the Old Trafford club all the way back in March 2008 before he was promoted in July 2010.
Walker announced he is leaving on Twitter, where he thanked all five of the managers he has worked under while at Manchester United and wished Ole Gunnar Solskjaer all the best for the future.
The coach wrote: “All good things must come to an end. After 11 years, the time has come to leave this great club.
“I’ve had some amazing experiences at Man Utd and made some incredible friends and memories.
“A huge thank you to all of the managers, staff and players that I have worked with.
“I wish Ole and the lads all the best for the end of the season and huge success in the future. Now onto the next challenge.”
