President Uhuru Knyatta has sent a condolence message to the victims of Cyclone Idai that has hit most parts of Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi.
In his twitter handle, president wrote: ‘I wish to take this opportunity to condole with the families that have their loved ones in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi. The African Union should chip in and other International mechanisms to help.’
The disaster has claimed hundreds of lives in the three African countries with Mozambique recording the highest fatalities.
