While the earthquake that hit several parts of Kenya on Sunday of March 24th caused panic to many, Prophet David Owuor was not shocked as he allegedly foresaw and prophesied it six months ago.
The leader of the Repentance and Holiness Ministry church allegedly prophesied the earthquake when he was in Peru, South America in 2018.
In a Facebook post shared moments after the quake which happened at around 7pm on Sunday and lasted for a few seconds, Owuor allegedly said the incident was meant to remind Kenyans to repent of their sins and respect “prophets”. “This earthquake which the mightiest mightiest prophet of the Lord prophesied six months ago while in Peru is meant to remind the nation called Kenya to repent and fear the mightiest prophets.
“The Lord told me to tell Kenya to prepare the way for the mightiest prophets and repent otherwise the whole country will be ‘swallowed’ by Earthquake,” Prophet Owuor said according to the post shared by Facebook user Rooney Njogah.
Owuor’s alleged prophecy came to ‘pass’ on Sunday evening when a 4.8 magnitude quake shook Nairobi, Mombasa, Kilifi, Malindi, Lamu and Diani. Kenyans residing in Kiambu, Machakos, Nyeri and Makueni also reported mild shaking of furniture and household items. As was earlier reported, different parts of the country experienced slight movements emanating from down below, although no major damage was reported.
Live information published by an independent earthquake tracker, EMSC, indicated the quake was also felt in Spain, Turkey and Indonesia around the same time it was experienced in Kenya.
