Terryanne Chebet lands yet another lucrative managerial gig

Seems like the former Citizen TV Business anchor’s lay off at Royal Media Services was a blessing in disguise. The girl has been winning in life ever since.

Besides her personal business ventures such as her Keyara Organics skin care line, the mother of two landed a CEO position at Business station Fanaka TV, was recently named brand ambassador for multinational Molfix Diapers company and she has now been appointed the General Manager of Metropol TV, a new 24 hour business news channel.

Making the announcement, the station said Terryanne “brings to Metropol Television a wealth of experience in Broadcast and Communications that spans 15 years.”

It added: “She has grown her brand in business journalism and is credited with identifying and building successful business news teams across local and international business channels. She will lead the Metropol TV team in delivering cutting edge business journalism. Terryanne has a devoted passion of moving African economies forward.”

Terryanne holds a Bachelors Degree in Journalism and International Relations from USIU-A and a Diploma in TV and Radio Production, Public Relations and Advertising from the School of Information and Advertising. She has also previously worked for KBC and CGTN Africa.

She left Fanaka TV in February this year having joined the station, which is owned by Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, in April last year.
