Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Uganda, Aidah Nantaba, has survived an assassination.
The Minister was on Sunday afternoon on her way from Kayunga to Kampala waylaid by gunmen riding on a motorbike and opened fire on her
Nantaba who was on alert quickly sped off before reporting the matter to Naggalama Police Station.
Police in response, launched an operation and intercepted one of the assailants in Nagojje Sub County.
Posting on her social media after the terrible incident, the Kayunga District Women MP said she is still traumatized.
“God is great, I survived death from nasty assailants who opened fire on my car around Nagalama,” she said.
She added that she was praising God for surviving the ill fate incident.
“Am still traumatized but praising God for the survival,” she concluded.
