Irresistible Return offer; Retired Russian boxer Wladimir Klitschko offered a tempting £60million back to ring

Wladimir Klitschko has reportedly been offered a tempting £60million three-fight deal to return to the ring.

The former heavyweight world champion has not fought since he was stopped by Anthony Joshua in 2017.

But according to reports in Germany, streaming giant DAZN has made a renewed offer to tempt him back.Klitschko was initially offered £30m to return last year but opted to remain retired.

But the 42-year-old could now be tempted back with a rematch against Joshua a possibility.A fight against Dillian Whyte has also been mooted with the Londoner struggling to find an opponent for his next fight.

Klitschko ruled out a ring return earlier this year when he said: “If my status changes as a box-retiree, then I’ll talk about it but so far, but everything remains the same.”

Whyte, who rejected an offer to fight Joshua and who missed out on a fight with Dominic Breazeale claimed in January that Klitschko was returning back.

“He’s definitely coming back, 100 per cent,” he told Behind The Gloves . He’s a smart man, he knows how to play the media and control stuff. He does what he does and did it for years.

“George Foreman did it and he thinks he wants to come back and do it to. Klitschko is all about legacy, not about money. It’s about cementing a legacy.

“If he comes back and loses, so what? If he wins, then great.”
