Citizen TV’s news anchor Rashid Abdalla has moved the hearts of many after sharing a powerful message about his life and asked God for guidance and protection in life.
Abdalla is one of the most respected television personalities around, for his mastery of the Swahili language.
The father of three co-hosts Nipashe Wikendi on CItizen TV every Weekend,with his lovely wife Lulu Hassan.
Here is the prayer he made:
‘Mola nijalie kutolima pantosha nisivune pankwisha. Mungu usinifanye kama mwanga wa mbalamwezi thamani yake si ya kudumu. Mungu walinde na wabariki wale wote wasionipenda kwani uwepo wao ndio kipimo cha bidii zangu. Mola nipe busara ya kushindana na jasho langu. Mola wajalie wapika majungu kufahamu kwamba mimi si mkamilifu nina kasoro zangu tu kama binadamu wote wengine hivyo wasipoteze mda wao kwa ajili yangu.’
He did not hesitate to remember those who had supported him and still support him to prosper:
‘Mola wafungulie njia wote walionishika mkono hadi wa leo.’
Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdalla are a match made in heaven. They are also role models to young couples around.
