Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruyot among other DP Ruto allies were over the weekend castigating director of Criminal Investigation George Kinoti over strong stand against corruption vice across the Country.
The leaders who had accompanied deputy president for an event had accused George Kinoti of being used to fight deputy president.
“MRr Kinoti just know there were other people ahead of you and know you wont be first or last,Kivuitu was misused just like you and he died a hopeless man and you will follow the same channel,”he said.
The Senator said that the Riftvalley leaders aren’t guests in Jubilee party but equal partners and thus they shouldn’t be targeted.
“We are also entitled to development just like other region and dont allow to be used by politicians to score for them,”he warned.
Senate majority leader Kipchumba Morkomen was also on records few weeks ago accusing Kinoti of being selective on the fight against corruption.
He said that George Kinoti has no constitutional right to investigate politicians and at the same case prosecute them.
The Kalenjin had accused president Uhuru of politically targeting deputy president in the fight against corruption.
