Kenyans on twitter have blamed their leaders for poor planning leading to hunger that is currently being experience in the northern parts of the country.
As per the Auditor General’s report Turkana County has been seen to have Over-expenditure in; Domestic travel and subsistence, Office general supplies, cultural events all running into millions of Shillings while residents are starving
Governor Nanok and the other governors from drought-hit areas have been on receiving end for failing to properly plan for the monies they have received so far towards equalization fund.

In 2015 Devolution Conference at Sagana State Lodge, Governor Nanok almost wept speaking about the need for Turkana and other ASAL counties to get more billions so that their people could stop dying from famine.
