Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has now dared the Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti to arrest Deputy President William Ruto over graft allegations.
Senator Ole Kina urged the DCI to fight graft without fear or favour no matter who is the person is.
The Senator was speaking in Kilgoris town during the funeral of the Daniel Rudisha, father to David Rudisha where he further insisted that the the DCI should cast his net wider so that he can arrest the big fish including the second in command.
“This is because we saying the DCI should do his job if it is the Deputy President arrest him. Do not be intimidated in any way,” he said.
Ledama also said that Ruto is unreasonable to claim that nobody has died because of hunger. He insisted that Ruto doesn’t care for the people of this nation.
The Senators remarks came a time when the DCI is seriously investigation the loss of Ks 21 billion dam money which has seen several government officials involved in the scandal.
Most of the officials are said to be associated to DP Ruto including the treasury cabinet secretary Henry Rotich among others.
