City lawyer Assa Nyakudi who shot dead his 29 year old son and ended up being hospitalized at the Nairobi Hospital is said to have been experiencing family troubles.
He was rushed to Nairobi hospital after he shown signs of depression and looked confused while at the Muthaiga Police Station
At the police station he could not cooperate with investigating officers prompting his lawyers to request his admission.
He was not arraign in court on Monday as expected following a miscellaneous application which would enable the prosecution to be given time to continue investigations.
Nyakundi shot son, Joseph Nyakundi a former student at United States International University by accidentally firing his gun.
The late was planning to go for his masters degree.
His controversial death has split the family with word a section believed he was killed in cold blood.
His family remaining brother Onsumu Nyakundi has told friends he suspects foul play in the death.
Two of the lawyer’s daughters are studying abroad and the late was pressurizing to do his masters abroad.
