Gor Mahia has continued to make history after history with the Club’s recent qualification to the CAF Confederations Cup quarterfinals being another achievement that will go down in history books.
Despite being 9 men, Gor Mahia survived the Petro De Atletico Storm to cruise to the Quarterfinals of the CAF Confederations cup for the first time in the Club’s history after a well taken Jacques Tuyisenge penalty gifted them the much needed 3 points to progress.
After their Progression, Upbeat Gor Mahia fans took to social media to celebrate the team’s success with a number of team making hillarious comments and suggestions about the team.
One that stood out was when a fan suggested that Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has opted to join Gor Mahia.
The fan claimed that Courtois had informed his agent that he want’s to join Gor Mahia since his wife and kids want to live in Kenya.
According to the fan, Courtois choose Gor Mahia because of it’s rich history.
He even put up a poll on twitter to get the opinions of Gor Mahia fans on the same and to our surprise, 60% of Gor Mahia fans did not welcome Thibaut Courtois move to Kogallo with only 40% welcoming his move.
Well, it so seems like Kogallo fans believe in their current crop of goalkeepers led by Boniface Oluoch and Peter Odhiambo.
