According to a neighbour, Mercy Mutai who heard the trio quarreling, the boy, stubbed the man on the chest and he died while dressing up to leave the house, reported a local TV station.
“I heard the boy, the man, and the woman quarreling and the woman screamed, when I arrived I found the man putting on his shirt but he immediately fell down and died,” said one of the neighbours.
The neighbour further said the boy is known to be very silent and has never portrayed any signs of being violent.
She also noted the boy reached for a kitchen knife after asking the man what he was doing in their house yet he was not his father.
“The old man had a stub mark on his chest and that was when I screamed alerting the other neighbours who came and called the area chief,” added the neighbours.
Further reports indicate it was the first time the man had visited the middle-aged woman at her home when the boy found them in bed together. Police are now looking for the 16-year-old boy who is on the run after committing the heinous act.
