Ex-Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Miguna Miguna and a constant critique of the Kenyan political arena has in a new politique row called out President Uhuru Kenyatta’s cabinet.
Miguna Miguna, in a new term he has coined- ‘kikuyunising’, said that the Jubilee government’s executive, is ethnically biased, containing “either a Waithaka, Karanja, Njoroge, Kamau or Kibichu.”
The legal expert further reinstated his point citing that, “the Kikuyu comprise 22% of Kenya’s total population but make up 75% of Cabinet Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and CEOs of public institutions.” This is inspite of Kenya’s total of 45 ethnic groups.
