Kenyans across the Country have stormed online to mourn the death of Patrick Hinga Wanjiru, the former drug addict who was rescued by his friend Faith Wanja Nganga.
On her Facebook post Ms. Wanja said that Hinga died after complaining of stomachache.
Ms. Wanja came to limelight last year after she came to the rescue of his former friend whom he found along the streets of Nairobi.
She took her to the rehabilitation center where mr Hinga shown signs of improvements.
‘With deep sorrow I want to inform you that Hinga has rested. He passed on this morning. I don’t have the strength to say much right now. R.I.P my friend,’ Faith posted on her Facebook page.
