Cristiano Ronaldo back in Spain, Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Madrid on Monday to open his eagerly-awaited hair transplant centre in the Spanish city.

The centre belongs to the Insparya Group, which Ronaldo co-founded, and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez is going to be one of the managers.

Ronaldo, who left Real Madrid last summer to sign for Italian giants Juventus, was spotted making his way to the clinic with his partner.

The pair were seen in the back of a chauffeur-driven car as they prepared to open the doors to the centre.

Ronaldo later arrived at the clinic, where the footballer and his business partners unveiled their new venture.

The Portuguese’s latest venture will employ 150 professionals working in 18 rooms and with the capacity to perform 18 hair transplants a day.

The Juventus forward has already pumped a reported €1million into his latest venture, but has ambitious plans to add a further €25million over the next three to four years.

Last month, Ronaldo said: “In addition to football, I am passionate about health, technology and research, they are areas which I wanted to invest in.”

The price of a hair transplant at Ronaldo’s six-storey clinic will start at €4,000.

Ronaldo, meanwhile, is facing disciplinary action for his celebration after one of the three goals he scored in last week’s 3-0 win over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

UEFA said the Portuguese would face a hearing on Thursday for “improper conduct” during the last-16 second leg match, where Juventus completed a 3-2 aggregate win.

Ronaldo made a similar gesture to Atletico coach Diego Simeone, who celebrated his team’s opening goal in the first leg by turning to the crowd and putting his hands on his trousers.

Simeone was fined £17,000 for the incident but escaped a touchline ban for the return match. Juventus face Ajax in their quarter-final.
