New Zealand,Christchurch attack; Queen Elizabeth Eulogizes with the victims condemning attackers

The terror attack in New Zealand has caused a worldwide uproar with thousands in their numbers mourning with the bereaved and sending condolences.

The Queen of England has said she is “deeply saddened” following a terror attack that claimed the lives of 49 people in New Zealand.

“I have been deeply saddened by the appalling events in Christchurch today”, she said in a statement.

“Prince Philip and I send our condolences to the families and friends of those who have lost their lives.”

“I also pay tribute to the emergency services and volunteers who are providing support to those who have been injured.”At this tragic time, my thoughts and prayers are with all New Zealanders.”

Messages of support have flooded in for the families of victims of the horrifying terror attack.

At least 49 people have been killed and a further 20 wounded during Friday prayers at two New Zealand mosques in the country’s worst ever mass shooting.

All Blacks star Sonny Bill Williams posted a heartfelt message to the victims of the Christchurch mass shootings.

Williams, who is a devout Muslim, was left shocked and saddened by the tragedy which has claimed multiple lives.

Sharing an emotional video on Twitter , he said: “Just heard the news and I couldn’t put it into words how I’m feeling right now. Just sending my dues to the families.

“Just sending out my dues and Inshallah everyone that’s been killed today in Christchurch your families you can take.

“Just my duas to your love ones. Inshallah you guys are all in paradise and I’m just deeply deeply sad that this would happen in New Zealand.”

In Europe, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said she was deeply saddened: “I mourn with the New Zealanders for their fellow citizens who were attacked and murdered out of racist hatred while peacefully praying in their mosques.

We stand together against such acts of terrorism.”

Sadiq Khan said Londoners stood shoulder to shoulder with the people of Christchurch.

“When the flames of hatred are fanned, when people are demonised because of their faith, when people’s fears are played on rather than addressed, the consequences are deadly as we have seen so sadly today,” he said.

New Zealnd Prime Minister  aid the attack represented New Zealand’s “darkest day”

She said: “We were not chosen for this act of violence because we condone racism, because we are enclave for extremism,” Ardern said in a national address.

“We were chosen for the fact that we are none of these things. It was because we represent diversity, kindness, compassion, a home for those who share our values.

“You have chosen us but we utterly reject and condemn you.”
