Following the brutal murder of former University of Nairobi student leader Samuel Ragira alias OCS Ragira, Kenyans online have condemn the killing.
Ragira was killed on Thursday evening at Club 36 market located opposite Nairobi Primary School.
Prior to his demise, the deceased had condemned goons who were terrorizing traders at the market and accused them of demanding Sh10,000 from everyone who wanted to set up a business.
He further accused police of letting this happen under their watch and had appealed to the County government to come to the aid of the traders.
So far a politician who contested the Milimani ward seat as an independent candidate in 2017 was on Thursday night shot dead by goons at Club 36 market located opposite Nairobi Primary School.
A number of leaders and social media influencers strongly condemned his killing and urged police to look into the matter.
Kilimani OCPD Michael Muchiri had earlier on, before the murder, told Nairobi News that he was aware of the saga and that the police were on it.
“They are goons and we already have a plan on how we shall deal with the matter,” he said.
Early this week, a senior police officer visited the scene and was beaten up by the goons who broke his leg.
