Water Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa has come out to explicitly declare his position on the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal.
The CS on his Twitter publicly declared that he recorded a statement with DCI saying, “I clarified that they (the two dams’ constructions) were not under my jurisdiction.”
This is as the two dams are currently being probed by the Director of Criminal Investigations and the Director of Public Prosecutions for the loss of over Sh21 billion in corrupt deals.
