United Captain Could Feature Against Wolves After Joining Others in Training

Antonio Valencia has been pictured arriving at the Manchester United training ground as the club prepare to face Wolves in the FA Cup this weekend.

MEN photographers captured the club captain arriving at the club’s Carrington training complex on Wednesday as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer prepares his side for their quarter-final on Saturday night.

The Ecuadorian defender has not featured in any of United’s previous 14 matchday squads with his last appearance coming in a 2-0 away win at Newcastle back in January.

Valencia is out of contract at the end of the season and has already sent supporters a message as prepares for the final few months of his decade at Old Trafford.

Taking to social media earlier in the month the 33-year-old tweeted : “Lago Agrio is a very humble town in Ecuador.”

“When I was a child, I never imagined travel to Europe [sic]. Thanks to God for letting me play 10 years in the best club in the world: @ManUtd. Now I am focused on my recovery so I can end the season playing at Old Trafford!”

United will be without Ashley Young for their fixture against Wolves this weekend after he was booked in previous victories away at Arsenal and Chelsea.

It remains to be seen if Valencia will train with the first-team squad ahead of the trip to Molineux, with Diogo Dalot the leading contender to start at right-back this weekend.
