Predators teachers feasting on students SLAPPED hard by the state

The issue of pregnancy among school children was among the rising menace that was hitting the ministry of education in Kenya.

The nominated CS Magoha once proposed shutting down of pornographic sites in Kenya to curb the menace.

But what also emerged is that predators teachers are among the people leading in impregnating of the students.

But their feasting spree has come to an end.

Over 1000 teachers from various parts of Kenya have been sacked since 2010 after the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) established that they were either responsible for early pregnancies of students or they sexually molested their students.

Speaking while appearing the Senate Committee on Education, TSC boss Nancy Macharia said that most of those stuck out faced allegations of sexual relationships with students, insubordination and negligence.

The TSC Chief Executive Officer also noted that six counties notorious for cases related to such offences were; Kakamega where 88 teachers were interdicted, Kisii 61, Homabay 60 , 53 from Kitui and 46 from Bungoma, Siaya Counties.

Macharia who was accompanied by officials from the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) insisted that teachers accused of any sexual misconduct would be banned from teaching in Kenya.

“These teachers stand no chance to handle any Kenyan child,”said Macharia
