Former Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj says Paul Pogba has asked him about what it is like to play in Spain.
The France World Cup winner has been linked with a move to play in La Liga in the past with speculation regularly surfacing regarding his long-term future at Old Trafford.
Reports last year had heavily linked Pogba with a move to Barcelona following doubts over his future following a public falling out with former United manager Jose Mourinho.
However, gossip was soon quashed following the player’s remarkable resurgence under the guidance of caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Pogba has been in phenomenal form under the Norwegian coach, scoring nine goals and setting up seven goals in 16 appearances since he took over in mid December.
Despite his turn in fortunes, transfer gossip earlier this week even suggested the 25-year-old was a top target for Zinedine Zidane following his reappointment as manager of Real Madrid.
Speaking on local radio, in quotes picked up by Mundo Deportivo , former United player Januzaj revealed how Pogba has asked him about his own move to Spain to play for Real Sociedad.
“We have known each other since we were very young,” the Belgian is quoted as saying.
“We have done everything together. I went to his house and he to mine. He asks me how Spain is and he likes to watch my matches. I also see his.”
