Huawei P30 Pro has two more weeks before it is officially announced, but right after yesterday’s Geekbench appearance, today the phone was benchmarked at AnTuTu, confirming some specs we already heard about and the chipset performance as well.

The phone with model number VOG-L29 reached 286,152, slightly more than the official Huawei Mate 20 benchmarks last fall.

The Kirin 980 chipset and 8/256 GB memory is nothing new but is still a very potent combo. The listing also revealed the Huawei P30 Pro will have Full HD+ resolution and tall ratio, which was also expected. The display will likely have a fingerprint scanner underneath, if we can trust the press renders that leaked earlier.

Unlike Geekbench, where only the CPU matters, at AnTuTu the phone can reveal its raw performance in four key elements – memory, UX, CPU, and GPU. Usually, the Chinese benchmark gives a breakdown of the categories, but here we can only see the overall result without any performance mode boosts.

Huawei will introduce the P30 series in Paris, France, on March 26, and that’s when we’ll know more whether the new flagship can outperform the Mate series.
