The Merseysiders are locked at 0-0 with the Bundesliga side following the first leg of the Champions League last-16 tie.
Now they face the German giants at Allianz Arena looking to book a quarter-final spot.
Who should Klopp pick for the big game? Starsport picks its team.
Alisson
Obviously the Brazilian starts. He will be looking for his 20th clean sheet of the season. If he gets it Liverpool will most likely be in the quarter-finals.
Trent Alexander-Arnold
The young defender simply has to start if he’s fit.Alexander-Arnold picked up a knock in the weekend win over Burnley.
But he was sorely missed when left out of the recent 0-0 draw with Manchester United.
Klopp will pick him unless he can’t last 90 minutes.
Virgil van Dijk
Who else? Missed the first leg through suspension, will be a big addition for this game.
Bayern will be much more attacking than the first leg at Anfield so the return of the Dutch centre-back is huge.
Will be a tough night to keep Robert Lewandowski quiet, though.
Joel Matip
Dejan Lovren is back in training and travelled with the squad but he’s not fit for 90 minutes.
That means Klopp should stick with Matip for this one.
The Cameroon international was at fault in the build-up to Burnley’s first goal on Sunday.
Liverpool need him to avoid foolish mistakes tonight if they are to go through.
Andy Robertson
Ever present, ever brilliant. Liverpool will need him to attack down the flanks like he has been so good at since emerging as a first-team star last season.
Might have a tough night against Serge Gnabry, though.
Jordan Henderson
The Kop skipper divides opinion like no other but he is a crucial player for the Reds in big games.
Klopp left him out of the win over Burnley but he must start here.
Henderson’s passing will be key but his covering work to stop Bayern when they’re pushing forward will be just as important.
Fabinho
The Brazilian played the first leg at centre-back in the absence of Van Dijk but he has become a big midfielder for the Reds.
He should hold on to the “No. 6” position even with Henderson back though as he has been excelling in the role in recent weeks.
Fabinho took a while to settle after his summer move from Monaco but he’s become a key player for the Reds.
Georginio Wijnaldum
Wijnaldum’s place is probably the most debatable, he looked tired at times during the Burnley game on Sunday.
Klopp could turn to more the more experienced James Milner but that might be too conservative an approach with the tie delicately balanced.
Wijnaldum just gets the nod for us because of his performances this season.
Sadio Mane
Liverpool’s front three picks itself. Mane has scored four goals in his last three games.
A big away goal here from the Senegal star would be huge.
Roberto Firmino
The Brazilian was badly missed when he went off injured in the 0-0 draw with Manchester United and he couldn’t get into the game when he came on in another goalless draw against Everton.
But he showed his brilliance with a delightful double against Burnley at the weekend.
Both goals were tap-ins but he was in the right place at the right time while always looking to create in other moments too.
Mohamed Salah
Salah has scored four goals since the turn of the year.
For most players that would be a good return but the stupidly high standards he set last season means some are questioning his form.
But Klopp was right to say he was brilliant against Burnley on Sunday despite failing to net.
Don’t be surprised if he gets a couple tonight.
