Jubilee member of parlianment has spoken on the recent exchange of words between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Kapsabet member of parliament Oscar Sudi.
While speaking in an interview in one of the local radio stations Kanini Kega expressed his dissapointment in the way the legislator has been reponding to the president.
“It’s very sad that the MP can engage the President in a verbal exchange. This is a disrespect to the President’s image as the symbol of national unity,”He said
“It was very wrong for him to ignore their age differences and disregarded the power and image the Presidency carries with it,” he added
Kanini was speaking following the recent exchange of words between the presiden and Sudi where the MP accused Mr Kenyatta of been a part of the ongoing corruption scandals in the country.
To his response President Kenyatta dared the Kapsabet legislator to take him to the DCI for further investigations if he indeed thought that he was guilty.
