Serie A champions Juventus are about to enter the bidding for highly-rated Lyon playmaker Tanguy Ndombele, according to the reports from France.
The 22-year-old midfielder is already believed to be a top transfer target for Manchester United and Man City.
The Red Devils are rumoured to have made contact with Ligue 1 giants ahead of the summer move for the 22-year-old midfielder as they are desperate to see off competition from direct PL rivals Man City but now it seems that they will face another battle with Juventus.
Italian outlet Rai Sport claimed that French midfielder is also a target for Serie A champions Juventus, though, with Massimiliano Allegri looking to further bolster his midfield options, despite already agreeing on a contract to sign free agent midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
However, it is reported that the Ligue 1 giants are holding out for around £78m for the Frenchman, which could prove prohibitive to any deal from Serie A champions perspective.
Ndombele has joined Lyon from Amiens last term and has already racked up 55 Ligue 1 games and his fine form has attracted the interest of top European teams.
Meanwhile, Manchester United attacking midfielder Juan Mata is reportedly on the brink of signing a new long-term contract with 20-time English champions.
The Spanish midfielder has been with the Red Devils since January 2014, founding back of the net 44 times and providing 36 assists in 213 games for the Red Devils.
The 30-year-old’s current deal will expire this summer, but, and it had been reported that the Spanish playmaker would depart from the club on a free transfer after the end of the current campaign.
