Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita missed the club’s training session on Tuesday ahead of their Champions League second leg against Bayern Munich.
The club released footage of their session at Melwood before they fly out to Germany and the midfielder was nowhere to be seen throughout.
Keita’s absence has now cast serious doubts over whether or not he will be involved on Wednesday night.
The midfielder came off the bench in the last 15 minutes against Burnley on Sunday but there was little indication that he would not be involved against Bayern.
Not having Keita available will come as a huge blow to the Reds, the Allianz Arena is a stadium that he knows all about from his time with RB Leipzig.
Adam Lallana started and impressed during the 4-2 win over Sean Dyche’s men and could now keep his place in the team.
Bayern will be hoping that home advantage sees them through, with Liverpool needing just a win or a score draw to qualify into the next round.
