Real Madrid officially announced Zinedine Zidane’s return on Monday evening which means that Santiago Solari is dismissed from his position following a horrible week during which the Whites were beaten by Barcelona (twice) and Ajax.
Barca fan @Robertonical took to Twitter to celebrate the occasion praising our coach Ernesto Valverde for being a true nightmare to Madrid managers. Both Solari and his predecessor Julen Lopetegui were sacked after losing to Barca. The Spaniard was destroyed at the Camp Nou 5-1 whereas the Argentine did way better managing to lose with the same score of 1-5 but in three games that took place within one month.
Indeed, Lopetegui finished his spell at Madrid at the end of October while Solari was dismissed in the middle of March.
Some Barcelona supporters are actually glad that Zidane is back at the Bernabeu as they expect Clasicos to be more intense and entertaining. Perhaps, Mr @TotalCruyff forgot about the 0-3 humiliation at the Bernabeu in December 2017…
