Jadon Sancho has been in the mouths of many for the sole purpose of his transfer rumors where a number of teams are fighting for his signature Manchester being one of them, but what would he bring to the Red Devils dressing room that’ not there?
Andrei Kanchelskis has urged Manchester United to sign Jadon Sancho this summer because he is the ‘perfect mould’ of player needed at the club.
The former Manchester City winger has been in superb form for Borussia Dortmund this season and has proven his talents with regular first-team football in both the Bundesliga and Champions League.
The 18-year-old’s carer has taken off since leaving the Etihad in 2017 when a new contract could not be agreed amid concerns from the player about a clear path to the first-team.
Sancho’s impressive form in Germany even attracted the attention of Gareth Southgate, who called him up to the England squad and gave him his first cap in October 2018.
And now Kanchelskis has urged his former club to make a move for the winger at the end of the season.
“I think Sancho would be a great signing for United,” Kanchelskis told bWIN .
“He’s young and English which is the perfect mould for Man United. It’s crazy to think that a player who was let go for so cheap can suddenly come back to the Premier League for £90m, but I guess Manchester United did something similar with Pogba from Juventus.
“Sancho has really shown what he is capable of at Dortmund and it’s been great to see a teenager go abroad and become a first team regular for a potential title winning team.
“It makes you wonder how Man City didn’t see the talent or weren’t willing to give him the chance. Man United would love to have the chance of taking a City player and making him a United great.”
