Mesut Ozil mocks Manchester United star with savage tweet after Arsenal victory

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil may not always be the most consistent on the pitch, but his social media game is pretty reliable.

The German started for the Gunners today in their 2-0 win over Manchester United, and clearly felt pretty pleased with himself afterwards.

The Gunners midfielder couldn’t help but poke fun at the Manchester United forward on Sunday evening

After the match Ozil took to Twitter to thank the Arsenal fans for their support and announce that he is proud to be a Gunner.

But he also aimed a cheeky dig at Red Devils forward Lingard, who isn’t the most well liked man in north London – at least not the red half of it.

Lingard performed the ‘Milly Rock’ dance in celebration of scoring against Arsenal at the Emirates last season.

He then performed the Moonwalk when netting in Manchester United’s FA Cup clash in north London earlier this campaign.

After the match Lingard uploaded a picture of his celebration to Instagram and added the location as ‘dancefloor’.

Following Arsenal’s win over United in the Premier League on Sunday, Ozil couldn’t resit hitting back at the England international.

“Dancefloor huh!?” wrote the German. “Superb performance! Brilliant result! Thank you Emirates Stadium! Proud to be a Gunner!”
