If You Do Not Know How To Be Ruthless, Liverpool Star Shaqiri Will Teach You

Liverpool star Xherdan Shaqiri caught on camera doing something ruthless - fans LOVE it | Football | Sport

The Reds went into the Premier League fixture trailing leaders Manchester City following their win over Watford on Saturday evening.

But Jurgen Klopp’s side showed no signs of trepidation as they warmed up for the encounter in front of an expectant crowd.

Shaqiri and co. took part in a rondo passing drill as Liverpool geared up to take on Sean Dyche’s Burnley.

And that was when Shaqiri proved he was in the mood to shine by ruthlessly nutmegging Dejan Lovren not once, but twice.

The first time he pulled off the trick, the winger wheeled away laughing while his team-mates carried on training.

However, the second time prompted all of them to burst into giggles, with Shaqiri and Divock Origi ending up on the floor.

Liverpool shared the hilarious clip as a story on their official Instagram profile just before kick-off.

And fans have reacted to it with delight after it was shared on the r/LiverpoolFC subreddit of popular forum site Reddit.

“Love seeing the relationship between the boys,” wrote one Reddit user.

Another said: “Hahaha this is our f**king team, love it.”

“This atmosphere in the team makes me so happy,” added a third.

An amused fan quipped: “This brings a huge smile to my face.”

A fifth said: “Quality banter from the lads. I’m grinning.”

Shaqiri’s skill, though, was not the only thing that got supporters talking.

“Love Henderson’s cheeky laugh,” wrote one.

“Henderson manic laugh just kills me lmao,” added another.

A third commented: “Love Henderson’s cheeky laugh.”

Shaqiri was forced to settle for a place on the bench as Liverpool ran out 4-2 winners over Burnley.

Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane both scored braces for the Premier League title-chasers.

Next up for Liverpool is Wednesday night’s Champions League round of 16 clash against Bayern Munich.
